Shipwreck Dives

Wreck diving in Sri Lanka is an amazing experience not to be missed by any diver and Colombo offers a few incredible wreck sites not too far from the city.

Taprobane North Wreck (Perseus)

A massive ship, intact and lying on pristine sand. A haven for shoals of fish and a place of pristine wilderness and 30M+ Visibility! It is suspected to be the British Armed Merchant Perseus sunk off Colombo in 1917 by a German Mine Layer. Investigations are still underway to ascertain this ships identity.

The upright barge sits peacefully on the white sandy seabed in quiet clear waters, covered in colourful organisms. Expect Stingray, Napoleon Fish, Red Lions and vast shoals of glassfish amongst the abundant life here.

Avid Divers should also check out the British Sergeant which is a world class wreck located about 4 hours away from Colombo on the eastern coast.

Mount Lavinia

Mount Lavinia is a beautiful beachside suburb and the perfect spot for Cocktails watching the sunset followed by private Dinner on the beach. 

Vintage Car Drive  

See the sights of Colombo like royalty while driving around in beautiful vintage cars. 

Casino Night  

There are many casinos to choose from.  Kir and Caviar can arrange a private room for high-rollers for a game of Texas Hold Em or Teen Patti or Black Jack.  Take your pick.

Private Tea Tasting

This is an eye opening experience where you learn the fine art of tea making and tasting.    You will sample a number of teas including cocktails enhanced with a tea.

Sri Lanka is world renowned for its export quality Tea, Blue Sapphires and Noritake porcelain. Other shopping options include handloom and decorative items. Visit the Paradise Road outlets for wonderful handpicked items or the Arcade Independence Square for some of the best retail stores.

Cuisine

From some of the best Seafood to French cuisine and traditional Sri Lankan food, Sri Lanka offers lot of options and Colombo is home to some of the finest restaurants in the country. The quintessential Sri Lankan snack - Kottu Roti, consisting of sliced-up bits of rotti, expertly blended with your choice of chicken, beef, egg, onions, tomatoes and green chillies is a must-try.

Whale and Dolphin Watching

The ever smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, will nonchalantly glide past you, when you embark on a whale/ dolphin watching excursion.
